hi I'm Isabelle I'm Sophia and I'm Ari yeah we are going to be taking you back through 100 Years of tone way here we are standing in front of room 17 and this was where to anyways main building used to be from 1924 until 1956 wow so the office today was not here and there in 1924 yes it was here where we are standing so what else was not here in 1924 24 in 1924 ER broker team was also not here in 1924 room 16 was also not here in 1924 but in 1972 rule 151924 it's all started in 1923 when they broke ground to start the construction of toland way original building this newspaper clipping from March 26th 1924 mentions the opening of of the annex and it has a picture of tone ways first principle e d snow by 1924 the main building was completed but they soon realized that they needed more classrooms so they started to work on the next building which is the 1 on the right this Annex added 6 classrooms and Auditorium and a cafeteria check out this photo taken in 1924 this was take from a airplane over time way where is all the houses and Sparkletts they did not even have a Starbucks Target or 711 or CVS in 1927 other photographs were taken from from an airplane of toland way here you see the new building to the right of the main building more houses have popped up to do notice 1 other thing you don't really see lots of in this picture wouldn't you love no traffic to add from school fast forward to 1935 look at all the people working together to build something it turns out and earthquake destroyed tonin ways Auditorium a few years before and the school and the community teamed up to build an entity this would be an outdoor theater tone way students and staff and volunteers helped make this happened and it was completed in this next photograph you will see the cast of the first play that's was performed at on Wayne new entity in 1956 people decided to rebuild the whole school this is what it looked like when it was completed looked familiar is building and this classroom was built in 1956 since 1956 the school's pretty much looks the same with small change the school staff and students have come and gone unique events have happened but Traditions have continued through the decades 100 Years of total way
